To grandmother's house I go.
After my grandfather died recently, my grandma and I thought it was a good time again for a girly visit just the two of us and it was WONDERFUL!
She was totally up to get her very first pedicure at 92, and she wanted red toe nails!
She wanted to go out to eat at lovely Lolas, we dined on french fries and drank hot cocoa with whip cream at Perkins, we laughed, went thrifting, we visited the family plot, took long country drives where she showed me the house my grandfather was born in, I got to listen to her sweet voice say her morning prayers. It was all such a blessed weekend with lots of heart to hearts.

My Halloween socks
Fall was everywhere
My cheeks were so frozen from walking outside on State St, watching all the families and lil kiddos in costumes bundled up in their winter coats and mittens. The smells of wood fires on front lawns filled the air, it was so dang charming
Late nights with homework and chai tea
