The Burger House

Today we thought it would be fun to get outta dodge. It's gorgeous here, spring is alive everywhere and beckons. We headed to the lil town of Miami to try The Burger House that has been around for ever. It's quite divey but who cares when the food is amazing! 

It's a local favorite and all the fishermen in town know about it, don't ask me why. We have just been told by multiple fish guys about it. Let me warn you...it is not for the health conscious! Get ready to get dirty, it's crazy good!

We decided to head out to our favorite spot on the river for a quiet weekday night of fishin and relaxing. It was so very peaceful...the red wing black birds and loons were singing their songs all evening.

Our last fire outside before summer comes along. We ate fresh Alaska salmon, roasted what few marshmallows we have left and talked of the future. It was bliss

 It's spring here again in beautiful Arizona. It only last a short time before the heat settles in leaving us tucked away inside to hibernate it out till fall. But for now the air is fragrant with orange blossoms and the creosote outside our bedroom window is so thick , it's serenades us to slumber each night.

My friend Carrie hosted a head dress making gathering at her casa and this was the result~  The horns were made of foil and cast, the flowers and succulents were added and the crystals and peacock feathers were from our wedding day.  I just LOVED getting creative and getting to make something I think is so beautiful. We plan to go to the river into the desert and frolic around with our head dresses for a photo shoot
